About EcoAnnie

Hi!  I’m EcoAnnie because I’m in love with this world we live on and I’m passionate about learning new ways of living that support life in all ways. I’m a tree hugger and a people hugger and some say I’m a hippie.  I prefer natural healing methods and

I compost in my yard, which is free of chemicals and full of herbs that some people would refer to as weeds.  I have pet worms in a bin, the kind that eat kitchen scraps and turn them into nutrient-rich castings that will heal and nourish plants and barren soil.  I hope you enjoy the site!  Please send ideas and questions my way.  Cheers!

Permaculture

Permaculture is creating permanent landscapes that harmoniously integrate the health of the Earth with the health of the people and animals that live here.  In a permaculture landscape, you would find water retention, perennial food bearing plants, diversity, and wildlife habitat.  We would be sharing spaces, tools, and resources, growing our own food, using renewable energy sources, and regenerating the land and atmosphere. It's people care and Earth care, building community and the planet at the same time. Permaculture is really what this site is all about.
