Spring Seed Planting

It's time to start thinking about the summer garden if you start your plants from seed. Broccoli, tomatoes, eggplant and lettuce are just some of the plants that can be started from seed right now.

I just started dill, swiss chard and serrano peppers by placing the seeds on a wet paper towel, putting each in a zip lock bag, adding a little bit of water to ensure it stays moist and then placing on a plant warming pad.

Once the plants start to grow, they will be transplanted into an egg crate with seed potting soil.
